On the night before His crucifixion, Jesus withdrew to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. Overwhelmed with sorrow and knowing the suffering that lay ahead, He surrendered completely to the Father's will.
"Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me; nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done." — Luke 22:42
Even in His deepest anguish, Jesus chose perfect obedience, showing us what complete trust in the Father looks like.
